CALL FOR DONATIONS TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OF RE-USABLE SANITARY PADS, PANTIES AND SOAP TO GIVE TO POOR AND DISADVANTAGED SCHOOL GIRLS IN MASHONALAND EAST PROVINCE, ZIMBABWE ON 24 NOVEMBER 2016

Most of the girls in the country’s rural areas cannot afford proper sanitary wear to use during menstruation due to various hardships being faced as a result of the existing economic challenges. As a result most of these girls use unhygienic and unhealthy alternatives such as old rags and old newspapers to manage their flow and t has been reported that more than 20% of school girls miss school during this time.

Therefore, in an effort to help these girls access proper sanitary wear and also help them not miss school, we are looking for donations towards the purchase of re-useable sanitary pads, panties and soap to give to the girls. Our goal is to reach out to at least 1000 girls by December 2016. We have a distribution earmarked for 24 November 2016 and we are appealing to you for assistance in this regard. No donation is too small.

Call or email +263777688243, info.wecarezimbabwetrust@gmail.com if you wish to assist. Share or tag a friend who can assist.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
